Truly fantastic to see the result of the Hayward Area Historical Society's hard work and dedication to the preservation of the history of our local community's
On Wednesday June 25th Dwight, Julie and Dustin Roberts of BSR Realty attended the Hayward Area Historical Society's GALA Dinner to celebrate the grand opening of their new Center for History & Culture. The dinner started with a red carpet entrance to check in, while members of the board of directors introduced themselves and welcomed each guest into experience the exhibit. Once inside guests found an abundance of interesting and educational displays outlining note worthy times and events throughout the history of the local community. A band played as the patrons entered the event center and cafe where guests socialized while snacking on lite horderves, before making their way up to the third floor for the main event. Once the guests were elevated to the top floor they stepped into a grand hallway where they were asked to share their story's of times passed before making their way into the main dining area. To everyone's surprise the roof top and main ballroom had been transformed into an elegant and beautiful roof top oasis, lush with bright lights, delicious cocktails and well prepared food. Smiles and laughter filled the space as the night slowly came to a close. As a token of appreciation guests were given a commemorable glass as they exited, filled with thoughts of future pasts.
