About Cathy

Cathy Magee- Byrd has an extensive professional background in sales and management. She is highly self-motivated and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service to buyers and sellers in order to earn their trust, respect, referrals and repeat business. The end goal is a lasting relationship with anyone Cathy encounters.

Cathy commits herself to her clients by being prompt, honest and doing what she says she will do. She is an easy listener that pays close attention to the needs and wants of her clients. Whether representing a seller or helping a buyer purchase their dream property, you are always a priority.

In an ever-changing field, knowledge and continuing education is something Cathy takes to heart. She is always studying the latest strategies to market and promote the properties within her care. In the past year, she has completed the National Realtors Associations Commitment to Excellence Program and several other online classes. She is currently enrolled in NAR Accredited Buyer’s Agent Program.

When she is not involved in the Real Estate World, Cathy enjoys cooking, reading, riding horses, hunting and serving alongside her husband Earl in several ministry’s they are involved with, including The Gideons, a Ladies Bible study within the local church, and mission work both here and abroad. Earl and Cathy live in the Florence area on a small farm that raises Myotonic (fainting) goats, and chickens. They have a beautiful family of three grown daughters and sons-in-law, and three grandchildren.
