Vacation was much needed! As many of you know, our house-building adventure has been one obstacle after another, and getting away was definitely what the doctor ordered! We basically had the beach to ourselves, went for a morning bike ride, beach walks, spent time in the ocean and soaking in the vitamin D! We also had some delicious treats! The gelato place was heavenly, and we highly recommend it. We met new friends at our condo from Cleveland so spent some time together and made plans for when we are both back in Ohio. So thankful for our time at Surfside!

The devastation and loss will forever be etched in our minds, but how America came together to help and support each other is also something not to be forgotten. It didn't matter what religion, political party, nationality, etc., we were just proud to be Americans seeing our country pull together in the midst of it all.
