I recently stumbled upon a rock in a desert wash that has been eroded into a smooth, heart-shaped river rock featuring a flat bottom and a heart-shaped quartz vein. Its unique appearance immediately grabbed my attention while walking by. As an enthusiastic rock collector, I am always on the lookout for interesting rocks. This is a one-of-a-kind find, I am assuming it is composed of granite or sandstone, any opinions? Has anyone else discovered a rock with similar characteristics? I’d be interested to see them.
