My husband’s job with the Department of Environmental Quality required us to move ourselves and our 3 boys to the area from Maryland, via the train. I know how stressful this process can be and it is my intention to make it as simple as possible for my clients. After 15 years of teaching, I decided to make a career change and gain experience in another one of my interests: real estate. I obtained
my license in 2017 and I am delighted to have been assisting others through their unique moving experiences in the Helena area as well as surrounding communities. Originally from Pittsburgh, I received my teaching license from The Pennsylvania State University and moved to Maryland shortly afterwards. While there, I taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and also spent 9 years in a wonderful Reading Recovery program assisting struggling 1st grade students. Upon moving to Montana, I began working with my favorite school related book company, Books Are Fun. After 3 years of employment, I opted to consider this new calling. As a family, my husband Tommy (now working for the Department of Transportation), and children Zachary, Joshua, and Ryan, enjoy outdoor activities but especially skiing and snowboarding. Each winter since 2012, I have worked at the local ski hill, The Great Divide, as a lift operator. I enjoy assisting children and adults develop the necessary skills on the beginner lift to get a solid start in hopes that they too will cultivate an affinity for winter sports with their families. I am happy to help buyers find recreational properties where they can build upon these visions.
