Great Northern Carousel, Great Northern Town Center, Downtown Helena and Project Management have collaborated for the free event this Friday from 2-6pm. Please share this with everyone you know. Come and support and meet all the new staff at the Carousel. Also, a FREE Santa!

In addition to collecting for YWCA we are taking dry or canned foods for donating to the Helena Food Share. Not required but appreciated.
There will be a Christmas mailbox for Santa letters and free hot cocoa for all. Turn in a Christmas letter or picture for a free candy cane.
The balloon guy will be making balloon animals.
Start your weekend off right with the Xpress Carolers from 4-5pm. Lastly, the Great Northern North Pole will be up and lit.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make these events so successful over the past years. I appreciate everyone one of you.

The Great Northern Carousel is looking to hire fun, hardworking individuals to add to our team! We are open from 11-6 Wednesday-Sunday. No experience required!

Ice Cream Scoopers are responsible for taking orders, scooping, stocking supplies behind the counter, and keeping up with the lobby.
Wage is $13/hour

Carousel Operators are responsible for ensuring the safety of riders and cleaning up areas around Carousel. Operators must be 18 years or older for this position.
Wage is $15/hour

Shift Lead positions are responsible for ensuring everything is running smoothly during operations, in charge of closing shifts, key holders.
Shift Leads MUST be 18 years or older and have full availability Wednesday- Sunday; must be open to cover shifts or work extra hours if needed. Shift Lead will be 25-31 hours/week.
Wage is $16/hour

The Great Northern Carousel is seeking a Manager to oversee Carousel operations.
Daily/weekly responsibilities:
• Ordering inventory from vendors through various companies
• Paying all bills and entering daily deposits into accounts
• Grocery shopping for various items and entering all receipts into accounts
• Working with Project Management counting and balancing tills
• Weekly scheduling for all employees
• Interviewing, hiring, and terminating employees
Things to know about the position:
A key part of this position is customer satisfaction with their experience at the Great Northern Carousel, and that any concerns, are handled appropriately by Management. Good problem-solving skills are important.
The Carousel is a popular attraction in Helena and holds a space for parties and special events, it is up to the Manager to make sure all emails regarding parties/ events are responded to within a timely manner and recorded in the Party Book. This includes advertising special events and holidays that are posted on our website and social media platforms.
The Manager holds an important role at the Great Northern Carousel and must always be available/on call in case of emergency. Various vendors rely on weekly orders to be sent and payments to be received on time. The Manager must be aware of all inventories drop off days and times as each vary and may require someone to let them inside the building.
Patience is also a big part of this job, remember you are working with small children, so it is important to treat all guests with respect as parents pay close attention. It is the Manager’s duty to make sure all employees are adhering to the Carousel operating procedures to assure that all customers are safe and enjoying their time at the Great Northern Carousel.
Wage is $20/hour
