I remember when hubby Vince and sons Vinny and Fred moved to Burlington WI in the summer of 2000. We were unaware that there was a siren that wailed each Sat. at noon. We hear several planes flying overhead and then, suddenly!, we hear the siren... When we looked up it looked as if all the planes were WWII-ish. It was such a surreal moment. We were told later the planes were from the Burlington Airplane Club.

What's with the deal regarding drivers licenses? First of all.... the DMV Never photo-shops the wrinkles out of my picture or makes my hair look more stylishly set. But to top it all off, what female should be expected to tell the truth about age or weight? I propose that there should be a standard answers for these questions (unless a lady is simply compelled to answer truthfully). My suggestion is: Hair Color---Subject to Change Weight---None of Your Business
For one's age I recommend picking a number and sticking with it.

Today is Labor Day. It began as a day to recognize laborers and their importance in the American economy. It is now a three-day weekend. It is a time not only to barbeque but, even here in SoCal, it is a time that many of us begin thinking about 'falling back' and cooler temperatures. Some, like myself, even go so far as to decorate outdoors with flowers of oranges, yellows, and maroons. These flowers will soon be joined by tiny bales of yellow straw and scarecrows not much larger.

Even though I am still drinking quarts of Sweet Iced Tea (yes, I am from the South) I am still scenting our home with Sandlewood and other Autumn "flavored" candles.

One of the fun things I really like to do is to meet new people under any circumstances but I especially like to show people new houses!

Let me know! We could have some fun!

Good Day to everyone. Today is the Sunday before Labor Day and here in Hemet it is a great day to be looking at the bright sky through dark sunglasses and drinking a glass of iced tea while the patio misting system does its work.

I always enjoy the aromas of charcoal barbeques burning slowly as wonderful meals are being prepared and I know today and tomorrow will be no different. Mmmm! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

I hope you have a safe and happy Labor Day. And if you are driving, keep an eye out for those who don't want to be safe on the road. Blessings and God Speed
