Did you know that members of the public with no military affiliation can access and use boat rentals at the Toledo Bend Army Recreation Park operated by Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk) MWR? Civilian Access Requirements include: Unaffiliated civilians must sign up for an annual MWR Membership pass to gain access to lodging, camping, and boating services at the park.Service Surcharges: General public patrons using the facilities or booking rentals may be subject to a standard service charge (such as a 15% surcharge on site/lodging usage). Age Limits: All boat renters and operators must be 18 years of age or older. Available Rentals & Policies: The full-service marina at Toledo Bend rents pontoon boats, bass boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. Rules: Renters must comply with all local safety policies, and requires proof of a boater’s education course.
