I am profoundly saddened by the passing of my friend and colleague, Kaori Guerra. Kaori was always a bubbly, bright light and I feel privileged to have known her. She was a tenacious advocate for her clients and a great person. We join with our friends throughout the Las Vegas real estate community in mourning her loss, but especially so with our friends at Coldwell Banker Premier Realty.

THE Brokerage, A Real Estate Firm is grateful for the service of Commissioner Darrell Plummer on the Nevada Real Estate Commission and thanks him for his service.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Commissioner Donna Ruthe for being voted in as President of the Nevada Real Estate Commission. Commissioner Ruthe will be joined by Commissioner Forrest Barbee as Vice President and Commissioner Dave Tina (who has served as President previously). They are also joined by Commissioner Brad Spires.

Governor Joe Lombardo will be charged with appointing Commissioner Plummer's replacement to complete the 5 Member Commission.

REALTORS:
Be careful. Be diligent. Be consistent. Meet potential buyers at your office for the first time. Collect ID. Make sure your office or someone trustworthy knows where you're going, who you're going with, and when you should be done. CHECK-IN with each other routinely. Have a safe-word. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS!

BUYERS/SELLERS:
Don't be offended when we want to be careful about rushing out to meet you. Be prepared to follow the steps above to make your REALTOR or other real estate professionals feel safe. REALTORS are mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sons, and daughters and we want to feel safe "at work" which is showing homes to strangers or people we've just met. Be patient.

York Regional Police say the burned human remains that were found in Parry Sound have been identified as those from a missing Ontario real estate agent.

Your vote to re-elect me ensures a vote for the Members in every board meeting.

I want to see Las Vegas REALTORS to open its Board Room doors to Members again.

I believe policy should serve the Members uniformly and be applied equally.

Thank you to Robert Hamrick and Molly Manderscheid Hamrick and Coldwell Banker Premier Realty for supporting me as a Candidate for Director at Las Vegas REALTORS Board of Directors. I started my career at CBPR and received a wonderful education that laid a great foundation for what a REALTOR® is supposed to be.

Bob and Molly have been local real estate leaders for decades and understand the real estate climate that we are facing as REALTOR® members and the independent voice needed to lead Las Vegas REALTORS® in the right direction.
