One of my very first clients passed away at the end of last year. A few months later, I received an email from a family member letting me know. She had apparently left notes in her phone, and my name was in one of them.
As I connected with her family, they ultimately entrusted me with helping them sell her home.
This week, while sorting through items to donate, I found something that stopped me in my tracks…my old Windermere folder from 2011 that she had kept all these years. I also found a couple of appointments in her planner with my name written in them.
Fifteen years later, there I was, still tucked away in her records.
What a full-circle moment. Real estate isn’t just about transactions. It’s about relationships, trust, and the small ways we become part of each other’s stories. I’m incredibly honored to help her family through this next chapter and grateful for the reminder that the work we do can leave a lasting impact long after the closing papers are signed. ❤️
