Great food, great company, and a day well spent at the Hendersonville Board of REALTORS® Summer Membership Meeting at Tryon International!
Diana, Marlene, and I spent the day learning, making connections, and enjoying one of the prettiest meeting venues around.
Whenever I attend a training or conference, I have one personal goal: walk away with at least three things that will help me better serve my clients. If I can do that, it's time well spent.
One takeaway I appreciated was learning more about REALTOR® advocacy through RPAC. It's encouraging to see the work being done to support homeowners and promote policies that could make it easier for long-time homeowners and seniors to sell when the time is right. It was a great reminder that our profession is about so much more than buying and selling homes.
Another message that stuck with me came from Monica Rousseau, who encouraged us to be intentional about our thoughts and our "I am" statements. It immediately made me think of Scripture and the reminder that our words have power. The things we choose to speak over ourselves influence how we live, how we serve, and how we encourage others.
I'm thankful for opportunities to keep learning, to build relationships with other professionals, and to continue growing so I can better serve the people who trust me to help them through one of life's biggest decisions.
Always learning. Always growing. Always grateful. ❤️🏡
