Welcome to Tennessee! Congrats to my clients on closing on their beautiful new Pulte home in Millstone!

Relocating from another state is never easy, especially when you have full time jobs and a kiddo to juggle. But these two handled the home buying process with grace - tag teaming when they needed to, and not being afraid to hand duties off to me when they couldn’t be here. Having someone in your corner when you’re a few states away can go a long way!

Their new home gives them the space they need for their day to day family life, but also for when the grandparents come to visit. And convenient commutes to downtown begin just down the street at Vietnam Veterans Blvd.

All that, and their new home is certified to have NO GHOSTS. ;) Inside joke.

Through our negotiations with Pulte, we were able to get them a great deal on their Eastfield floor plan… with a reduced asking price and a bigger incentive credit than advertised, with a home sale contingency to boot!

Every once in a while everything has to go wrong before it can go right.

I got a call a few weeks ago from a family who just had a terrible experience with a new construction home they were under contract to purchase -- the foundation had serious issues and there was an enormous crack in the front of the home.

So they exited the deal and rightly got their earnest money back. But they were in a tough spot. They'd already sold their home in Florida and were on their way to Tennessee... without a home to move into, and no representation. Not to mention they needed to get their daughter into school ASAP. Can't do that without a permanent address!

"We get in town Wednesday and need to buy a home immediately," they told me. Mission accepted!

So we got to work right away. They had already been searching on their own, but we continued to rummage through the MLS, scour for sale by owners, reach out to my agent network, and call a few old leads to see if we could find what they needed. Then we marathoned the home tours in a couple of days.

And wouldn't you know it, the first home they almost crossed off the list before we even saw it ended up being the one they closed on. And with the help of our great lending partner, Lauree Leyland, we got it done in TWO WEEKS! Not to mention we got $41,000 off the list price. ;)

There was a lot of legwork on this one, but it was a lot of fun, and super rewarding. I'm so honored to have helped this family get into such a beautiful home.

Congratulations to my clients Johnny and Tierra on becoming first-time homeowners! These newlyweds chose beautiful new Southeastern construction right here in Hendersonville - the same town where they had their first date and tied the knot last October. I was impressed by how prepared they were, asking all the right questions and knowing exactly what features they needed (especially when it came to storage space!).
