BEFORE // I think finished houses always make me forget just how rough they were when we started. Throwback to April 2022 when we purchased 110 Langford Circle for $585k. This property had fallen into disrepair by the aging owner and was overtaken by a lot of stuff. In all honesty, I think we knew we would be buying the house before we ever stepped through the door because the property was just that special with its sprawling yard and picturesque setting on a private cove off of Old Hickory Lake. We had wanted an opportunity to try our hand with an AirBNB property - and this would be it!

Just got another great Hendersonville home full of potential UNDER CONTRACT ✨ An evening viewing (in the dark), after hours negotiations and a clean offer got this property secured just a few short hours after it went on market. One thing I learned early in real estate…a good deal won’t last long - so you’ve got to act quick!

I got to have one of those “I REALLY love what I do” moments today…

I got a text on Friday afternoon from the granddaughter of the previous owners of our most recent flip at 144 Luna Lane asking if her family could come see the house this weekend now that it’s been remodeled. We set a time for today and hearing their joy and wows in seeing the space just made me smile. The family loved it and said they couldn’t believe it was the same house, yet they could still picture grandma and grandpa in the living room. Everyone laughed when her dad wanted to recreate how grandpa always greeted them (swipe to the end to see).

I drove away with a reminder that a house is so much more than just a house…it’s a home filled with holidays, birthdays and the every days. It’s the place of firsts and lasts, love, hugs, laughter, stories and so many memories. I’ll always be honored that I get to be a small part in the home process - from design to remodel to buying and selling, I am so grateful to get to do what I do 🤍

Time for an official introduction to the newest member of the Homes with Hendel team…say hello to Gunther 🐾

This little guy started as a puppy foster from - but after a few days together, I knew he had found his forever home with yours truly.

Gunther loves coming along for Jeep rides as we check-in at job sites, going on trips, visiting our favorite local spots and of course looking at houses. He’s the sweetest boy and a great assistant - I couldn’t be more excited to have him ✨

Houses #59 and #60 are closed! Days like today remind me of how much I love what I do. The investing and flipping side of real estate captivated me four years ago. Becoming an agent was the easy next step and a goal I set for myself. Negotiations, the thrill of the process and the accomplishment felt at the closing table over the last year have only fueled my passion for this industry further.
