For the past 12 years, The Storehouse has partnered with local churches, businesses, and neighbors to help meet real needs right here in Henderson County.

This year, 10 churches and businesses have each given $3,000, creating $30,000 in base funds. Now, from June 1 through July 31, the community has the chance to be โ€œThe Match That Sparks a Change.โ€

โ€œTwo weeks?โ€

That was my reaction too.

After four feet of floodwater came through Chick-fil-A Hendersonville, Joel Benson and his team were back serving the community through the drive-thru in just two weeks.

Behind that quick reopening was a massive effort: gutted walls, replaced equipment, new electronics, new motors, and a corporate team that showed up with serious support.

Joel said around $250,000 worth of equipment came in from Chick-fil-A to help them reopen the right way.

This is the kind of story that reminds you how much work happens behind the scenes after a disaster. It also shows how strong this Hendersonville community really is.
