Whether you're looking for a relaxing afternoon by the water or an adventure-filled day exploring waterfalls, Hendersonville has plenty of options. Take a dip in the pool at Patton Park, cool off at Ho**er Falls or Fawn Lake in DuPont State Forest, or spend the day exploring the rivers, waterfalls, and swimming holes throughout the area. Ho**er Falls is one of the region's most popular swimming spots, while Fawn Lake offers a peaceful place to float and relax.

Looking for even more ways to beat the heat? Nearby favorites include Sliding Rock in Pisgah National Forest, the Davidson River, Looking Glass Creek, and Lake Lure Beach and Water Park. Local outdoor enthusiasts also frequently recommend North Mills River and other swimming holes throughout Pisgah National Forest.
