Thinking about renting out your lake property this summer? It can absolutely be worth it but there are a few things worth knowing first. 🏡

Check your HOA rules and local county regulations before you do anything else because they vary more than people expect out here. Then look at your insurance. A standard homeowners policy often does not cover short term rentals and that is not a gap you want to discover after something goes wrong.

It's where the day starts and where it ends. Where the kids jump in and where the adults sit long after dinner.

When I walk a waterfront property the dock tells me a lot about how the home has been cared for. It's one of the first things I look at and it should be one of the first things buyers ask about!
