Yesterday was a very special and bittersweet day as Mary and Steve officially closed on the sale of Mary’s Market, after more than 30 years in business serving our local communities.

What started as a business became something so much bigger. With locations in Festus and Bloomsdale, Mary’s Market has been a familiar part of life for so many families over the years.

For more than three decades, Mary and Steve have opened their doors, greeted familiar faces, supported their communities, worked countless hours, and built relationships that went far beyond business. In a small town, that means something. ❤️

You don’t build a successful business for 30+ years without hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to the people you serve. Mary and Steve should be incredibly proud of what they created and, even more importantly, of the legacy they leave behind.

Yesterday, one chapter officially came to a close—but what an incredible chapter it has been!

Two stores. Two communities. More than 30 years. Thousands of customers, countless friendships, and a lifetime of memories.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of RE/MAX Co-Founder Gail Liniger. ❤️💙

Gail was more than a visionary leader, she was an inspiration whose courage, determination, and compassion helped shape REMAX into what it is today. Her impact can be felt through generations of agents, leaders, and communities around the world.

While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Her vision opened doors, her leadership inspired others, and her legacy will continue to live on through all of us who are proud to be part of RE/MAX.

Our RE/MAX Best Choice Miracle Agents helped 77 families close on homes while raising another $1,480 for Children's Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis! 🏡❤️

That brings our 2026 total to an incredible $8,929 raised for local kids and families! 🎉 Every closing is more than a sold sign, it’s another opportunity to give back and support children receiving life changing care right here in our community.
