This one is extra special because I had the privilege of helping the previous owners purchase this home about four years ago, and now I’ve had the opportunity to help with both the sale of this home and the purchase of their next one. JUST SOLD & CLOSED! 🏡🎉🎇🙌

Normally these posts come with a bunch of closing pictures showing off a buyer’s new home. This one is a little different. Here’s a drone view of this beautiful Hernando home because this transaction deserves a story.

We had the opportunity to help both the buyers and sellers on this one, and wow… this one was for the books. On inspection day, we walked into a flooded home from a busted pipe during January’s snow and ice storm.

The biggest challenge? The buyers were already under contract to close on their existing home soon.

What could have been an even more stressful mess turned into a reminder of what can happen when everyone works together. Buyers and sellers stayed patient, insurance and contractors got moving quickly, and a lot of people worked hard behind the scenes.

It wasn’t easy, but after plenty of patience from the buyers, sellers, lender, attorney, inspectors, and everyone involved, we got this one to the closing table.

Congratulations to the Wrights on their new home! Y’all earned this one. 😊

Do y’all know what a whole house fan is? I still see these in some older homes. Before central HVAC became common, people would open their windows and turn these on. It would pull cooler air through the house and push the warm air up into the attic.

Pretty cool honestly — and I kinda wish I had one at my house during the spring time!
