I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in the woods hunting and passed carvings like these on trees. Who’s familiar with the Spanish Conquistadors and their conquests in the Utah mountains? I know this guy is .mac_88 he showed us a couple cool places this last summer on how they left markers and hid the GOLD. Take a close look at the tree with the DOVE on it and the tree that was cut and broke over acted as a marker to the tree next to it with the arrows marking the direction and paces. Surprisingly enough we did come to one of the old caches on the mountain and soon discovered more writings on trees. Crazy enough there is apparently talk/legends of more treasure to be found.
