Most of the time you hear me excitedly talking about the modern new construction projects I am fortunate to be selling and hosting in. But that’s not the whole story of my real estate experience. I’m sharing this tiny window into a special resale coming to market soon.

It’s special because it’s mine. I have to disclose that but I also want to. It’s been a labor of love to restore and a launching pad for many cherished people into these mountains. I believe as property owners we should be stewards of these homes and I’m grateful for the energy I have invested into this one.

Nearly a complete renovation on the inside with just a few finishing touches left for the next steward.

An enormous wrap around deck with bonus deck upstairs. All surrounded by 77 acres of forest under 10 minutes to Hiawassee.

2 bed, 2 bath

Chalet style, cute as a fu***ng button with angles for days.

No restrictions so enjoy it yourself or turn it into an instagrammable vacation rental.

At a price that will surprise you for how within reach it truly is. DM for the number

The thing about The Blue Ridge Mountains is that a lot of the times they look quite blue indeed! The way color and light impact our mood as humans cannot be understated. So grateful to get to experience true awe with such frequency here at

🧑‍🔬🔬For you science nerds out there (welcome friend), the reason has to do with the type of compound called isoprene the dense tree cover releases which scatters and filters the light, while its intended purpose is to protect the trees from heat.

When you’re ready to make this your morning view, give a shout.

How do you like to express yourself? What’s different about how you do that professionally versus as a hobby? I’m a firm believer that entrepreneurs are inherently creative. Calling your own shots, carving your own path, these things take both vision and ex*****on, which are skills shared by artists.

I won’t be making money from my painting anytime soon but it’s a fun way to get my creativity going in other ways. Watching the paint take shape and merge with the paper and other colors around it is absolutely mesmerizing to me.

One day soon I hope to take a class at nearby to hone my craft. Until then I’ll just dabble away.

Got some exciting announcements a brewing for spring market coming up, including a way for you to see this little birdie in person at our showroom in Hiawassee.

I had a prospective showing cancel for the second time. Grateful that they let me know both times, but does sting a little since I plan my time around these priorities. Sometimes folks just don’t show up. You can’t take it too personally, though getting ghosted never feels good. Part of the unglamorous side of real estate that often doesn’t make it online.

Thankfully I just took a walk and carried on with other things that needed attention. Grateful for amazing partners who sprung into action to help prep a new listing that’s coming online this week.

A few days late celebrating Chinese New Year, but so grateful for serving up delicious options in Hayesville, NC.

These fine restaurateurs have given us and which are two of my absolute staples. Happy Dragon is now also on heavy rotation when I have a hankering for something from a more global perspective.

Make the time to explore their great options!

One of the best things about being in the Blue Ridge Mountains is all of the ways you can get outside. When it’s 70 degrees in February it’s so great that is open year round on Lake Chatuge. and sidekick Freya took a quick spin to enjoy this warm spell.

Views from feature the lake and mountains with convenient in-town Hiawassee living. Contact for more information on this new modern community.

Seeing from above, one begins to understand what a unique place it is. Modern architecture that works with the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A walkable and welcoming layout. The sparkling pool at the Mere. The energy saving solar panels. Generous decks. What’s not to love?

What you can’t see is how amazing this community of owners is. Each one embodying the laidback luxury that the homes project, all from various walks of life united by a love of good design and living in harmony with nature.

Another great video by .photo taken in 2024. There’s a few more homes nestled in these trees but we still have room for you! Connect with to find your dream mountain escape.
