💧 Bring more water than you think you’ll need (and keep extras in a cooler)
🧊 Freeze water bottles the night before = hydration + cooling packs
🚚 Load heavy items early in the morning before the heat builds
🏠 Set up fans or A/C in the new home before moving day if possible
🧺 Pack a “first night box” so you’re not digging in the heat for essentials
😮‍💨 Take short breaks often, heat exhaustion sneaks up fast during moving!

✅ Take photos of electronics before unplugging cords.

✅ Pack a clear tote with your first-night essentials (toilet paper, chargers, medications, pajamas, snacks, and coffee).

✅ Use suitcases for heavy items like books, they’re much easier to roll than carry.

✅ Label boxes on the top and at least one side so you can identify them when stacked.

✅ Keep screws, bolts, and hardware in labeled bags and tape them directly to the furniture they belong to.
