JUST SOLD • 884 BOXTHORN AVENUE
Some homes are more than walls and a roof—some are chapters of your life. 884 Boxthorn Avenue was that for me. Growing up, it was practically my second home. It belonged to the Vanderlip family, who remain dear friends to this day, and I had the privilege of helping them sell their family home.
My memories there run deep—playing with the train track Mark crafted in the garage, countless games of driveway basketball with Tim, Eric, and other kids on the street, summers spent swimming until we turned into raisins, and enjoying fresh fruit, berries, and nuts grown right in the backyard. Boxthorn wasn’t just a house. It was a place where childhood lived loud.
Helping sell this home wasn’t a transaction—it was the closing of an era. It reminded me that selling real estate isn’t simply about bedrooms and square footage. It’s about legacy, stories, and the people who shaped them.
I take great pride in handling every sale with personal care and genuine concern, but every now and then, one lands a little harder. This was one of those.
Congratulations to the Vanderlip family, and thank you for trusting me with something so meaningful. It was truly an honor.
