Only because I thought this was crazy, I wanted to share.
These are the mortgage rates for the past 2 years. Before this graph, Pre covid rates barley peaked 5%. Now the Status quo rest at 7.5%.
If your looking for a Home and are in need of moving, have a solid plan to refinance at a good time. The difference between us and the availability of normal mortgage rates are only 2.5%.
In the long run, 2.5% is a massive difference, but if you stick to a refinance plan, then the loss of "bad" interest for a year or two is more advantageous than renting and totaling losing the money, even with "bad" interest.
