There are so many cool places for our visitors to explore nearby!
Payne’s Prairie Preserve is less than a 30 minute drive and visitors might see alligators, bison, and even wild horses, in addition to every kind of bird imaginable!
We were fortunate to catch this glimpse into
the lives of the wild horses who roam the prairie, as two stallions faced off in a battle for dominance in the herd!

Our feathered friends often come up and peck on the glass. They know where the yummy snacks come from!

Walking down our road I came upon a male yearling on one side of the road, and a young fawn on the other. Another deer was rustling in the woods just behind the fawn, and I would guess she is both of their mother. I love living in a place with so much nature right outside our door!
This place is always hopping with life!

Our latest 5 -Star review says it all! You can literally arrive with nothing but food and clothes and have everything you need for a great stay! We ❤️ our guests!

"I've been on Airbnb for almost 10 years and this is easily the best place I stayed. They thought of everything and have an extremely well-stocked kitchen with all the food preparation items you could need. We also loved their Rec Room with the kayaks and great area for staging and drying dive gear. Some small things that added up was the inclusion of treats for the animals (corn cob for the squirrels, we loved watching them!) through a discount card to local places. We will definitely be back!"

We had an amazing time doing the “8 Springs in 8 Miles” paddling trip with our friends at Anderson’s Outdoor Adventures!
The Santa Fe is low right now, but we were able to paddle all the way through and the water was astonishingly clear!
