5 Things That Kill Deals

1. Overpricing in Week One
Reality: The first 7–10 days on the market are your strongest leverage.

2. Inspection Stubbornness
Buyers aren’t being picky to annoy you, they’re protecting their investment.
When sellers refuse reasonable requests for repairs or concessions, deals collapse.

3. Slow Communication
Time kills deals. Deals don’t fail over price alone, they fail over tone, clarity, and follow-through. Being slow to respond kills momentum.

4. Emotional Attachment to Your Number
Sellers often fixate on the “I want to net $X dollars.”
