🇺🇸 Today, We Remember.

Memorial Day is not just a long weekend, a barbecue, or the unofficial start of summer.

It is a day set aside to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. They raised their right hand, wore the uniform, stood the watch, and made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live in freedom.

As a veteran, I know that service comes with a cost, not only to the one who serves, but to the families who stand behind them. Today, we remember not only our fallen heroes, but also the spouses, children, parents, siblings, and loved ones who carry their memory every single day.

To the Gold Star families and to every family who has lost a service member in the line of duty: thank you. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

May we live in a way that honors their courage, their service, and their legacy.
