My very first sell as a buyers agent, was the actual day my license came via email (which made it legal to show homes) . We saw 1 house, and that was it. They wanted to make an offer. Keep in mind, they had looked for a few months on their own. My biggest pet peeve with Agents when I was a client of theirs, was them NOT listening to me! I remember specifically telling them that I did NOT want this certain kind of stone that was on houses in Oklahoma. What did he show me? Yes, those houses with that ugly stone. He just wanted to sell the house. He thought if I could see the inside (which most had nothing I was asking for) that I might end up liking it. He never found that house for me. We looked many times. I finally built a home that I wanted. 6 months later, my husband got transferred, and that home sold in a week. I know what people like. I listen to you the first time, and would only look for houses and characteristics that you tell me.
