I’ve been going to Hidden Hill Lodge in South Dakota for about eight years now, and it’s one of those trips I always look forward to.⁣
Five of us came out from Colorado and met up with 22 guys total. The hunting is fun, but honestly, the best part is the time together. You can go months without talking to someone and pick up right where you left off.⁣
We had great weather, put some miles on, ate really well, and spent a lot of time outside. The people at Hidden Hill Lodge are some of the best, too. They take great care of us every year, and I really can’t recommend them enough.⁣

We enjoyed a quick weekend in Phoenix for Brynn’s ECNL-RL games. They went 1–1, and the second game was probably the best they’ve played all year. Lots of chances, great team play, and really fun to watch.⁣

Senior year makes these trips feel a little different, so I was glad to be there. We fit in some Scottsdale time too: dinner at Pinyon Coastal Mediterranean , a walk through Old Town Scottsdale (Official) , and somehow Jamie and I ended up in the middle of the Scottsdale Fall Festival.
