Fall is days away, so it’s prime time to plan your leaf-peeping trip. Experts say that the color changes are happening just behind the usual schedule thanks to the extra warm weather. This beautiful transformation typically happens north to south across the state, which means you should plan your northern leaf-peeping adventures as early as next week. Here are some popular areas around the state to get the best views: Peak to Peak Highway, Kawunechee Valley, La Veta Pass, Crested Butte, Mount Sneffels, and Grand Mesa.

With the exciting news that In-n-Out Burger is officially expanding to Colorado, one Washington Park burger joint is saying they’ve got a better burger. What started as a food truck operation for Jared Schwartz and Kade Gianinetti has evolved into a sit-down eatery called American Grind. Their patties are made from grass-fed beef straight from Buckner Family Farms in Boulder. Along with their locally-made challah buns, all of their sides and sauces are all made from scratch.

Do you get excited knowing that you get to be one of the first people to try something brand new? Denverites have been lucky enough to experience new services offered by Uber and Lyft since 2013 before most others in the country. The Mile High City has proven itself a valuable testing ground for all new services these companies intend to launch. Denver shows its faith in both companies through partnerships, like RTD ticket purchasing through Uber and choosing Lyft to be the official Denver Arts & Venues ride-share partner.

Today is National Cheese Pizza Day, and Wood Paddle Pizza in Aurora has the perfect slice to honor that day. Jared Riggs, Caleb Rodder, and Josh Prater are creating an establishment that focuses on community and good food. The pizzeria’s name has a dual meaning that embraces the owners’ love for river conservation and passion for cooking up delicious pizzas in their wood fire oven. However cheesy you’re feeling, their Margherita and three-cheese pies are just the beginning of their menu options.
