In January 52 mortgages were filed in Montgomery County compared to 52 in the previous month of December. Mortgage interest rates ranged from a low of 3.875% to a high of 8.75%. The overall average rate per mortgage came to 7.041%.

This was a heartfelt and personal closing for me.
