Windermere West is proud to announce that Laura Tinghitella has joined the team of professional real estate brokers at the Hillsboro office in Orenco Station. Laura, a seasoned real estate broker, has been serving clients in Southern Oregon and has recently moved to the Hillsboro area to be closer to her sons and their families.

Laura was drawn to a career in real estate because she always enjoyed touring homes just for fun. With an artistic background, she could appreciate the different designs and amenities each home had to offer. Now as a real estate broker, her artistic eye and love for design can really shine by helping her clients stage and prepare their home for market. As a previous business owner, Laura uses her business experience and attention to detail by guiding her clients through the complex process of buying or selling a home.

When asked why she chose Windermere West as the brokerage to operate her real estate business, this is what he had to say:

Last week, Windermere West brokers volunteered part of their day to help HomePlate Youth Services with a beautification project 🛠 After all, curb appeal is just one of our specialties. 🏡 To keep their mission of helping youth, we made a donation of $5,000 from our office’s Windermere Foundation funds. Donating time and money to HomePlate Youth Services is an investment worth making. 🫶 Contact for information about their services and how you too can help! Tim Smith, Oregon Real Estate Broker, joins Windermere West LLC, located in the heart of Orenco Station in Hillsboro. Tim has spent several years in the business of educating and helping others. Whether he was developing education curriculums and training programs or assisting people with various forms of technology, he always enjoyed providing a positive learning experience for his recipients.

As the son of a general contractor, Tim grew up assisting his dad on large home renovations. His exposure to the construction business is what ignited his interest in real estate and taught Tim how to see the potential in homes of all kinds. Tim’s personable demeanor, organization and problem-solving skills are essential qualities to help guide clients through the process of buying or selling real estate.

Raised on a small farm outside of Los Angeles, California, is where Tim developed his love for working with his hands and warm weather! In his spare time, Tim enjoys creating various items in his woodworking shop, visiting local wineries, cooking with his children, working in his garden or doing various outdoor projects.

Windermere West is proud to announce that Alia Mahuna has joined the team of professional real estate brokers at the Hillsboro office in Orenco Station.

In Alia’s previous career as the Head of Business Operations for a dental technology start-up business, she oversaw the operation of 5 departments including manufacturing, finance, marketing, HR, and client support. She’s a graduate from the University of San Francisco with a degree in Media Studies which encompassed marketing, communications, and sociology. Combined with her professional experience and education, Alia brings strong communication and organization skills to her real estate career. Her warm and caring personality offers comfort and confidence to her clients as she guides them through the real estate process.

Alia is a native Oregonian and grew up in the Bethany area. She loves to travel with her family, go to music festivals and concerts, enjoy bonfires at the beach with friends and explore the Portland food scene. She also has relatives and close family ties in Hawaii and is planning to be married in Maui next year.

With an extensive background in customer service and hospitality, Christa brings strong communication and organization skills to the world of real estate. She genuinely finds joy in seeing others happy, and her capacity for compassion and patience allows her to connect with and help others. These personality traits are valuable during the home selling and home buying process. Christa’s clients can expect calm guidance every step of the way.

Although a Florida native, Christa has lived in North-North East Portland for 10+, and calls it home. She loves the Oregon skyline in and outside of the city - whether looking down into the Portland valley or up to the magnificent mountains. The emerald greens of the PNW are like a fairytale and the changing seasons each bring their own beauty.

While she adores the natural beauty of Oregon, Christa loves to cozy up with a glass of wine and a good movie. She loves activities that allow her to be creative with her hands and, easy to please, she also enjoys picnics, puzzles, and long conversations.
