⚾️ We had a BALL! ⚾️

Rosewood took on our friends at Cornell Estates for a Bean Bag Baseball showdown, and what a game it was! Our teams played their hearts out, while our amazing spectators brought the cheering, laughter, and energy from start to finish. ❤️

The final score? Rosewood 19 — Cornell Estates 8! 🎉

We wrapped things up with a rousing rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” followed by high-fives, popcorn, and plenty of smiles. 🍿🙌

A little friendly competition, a LOT of fun, and a wonderful afternoon together.
That’s a home run in our book! ⚾️❤️

🌼✌️ A little peace, love, and perseverance! ✌️🌼

Our residents put their creativity (and patience!) to work making beautiful hippie headbands with beads, flowers, and braided strands. It took some effort, but they stuck with it, supported each other, and never gave up! 💛

The best part? Everyone got to take home a beautiful headpiece they made themselves. A little hard work, a lot of heart, and a whole lot of flower power! 🌸☮️

🍦💕 Grandparents Day Social! 💕

We celebrated the generations with two of our favorite things: ice cream and a little friendly competition! 🍨

Our grandparents and guests enjoyed delicious ice cream sundaes while putting their knowledge to the test with Generational Trivia — because apparently, every generation thinks their decade had the best music, movies, and everything else! 😂

It was an afternoon full of laughter, sweet treats, great memories, and even better company. ❤️

There’s something beautiful about watching older hands move to music.

Hands that have held babies, worked hard, worn wedding rings, wiped tears, cooked meals, built homes, and held the hands of people they loved…

And somehow, when the music starts, they still remember. ❤️🎶

The body may change. The years may pass. But sometimes a song comes to mind and those old hands remember exactly what to do.

Music doesn’t just live in our memories. Sometimes, it lives in our hands.

💪 Stronger Today - Safer Tomorrow 💪

We were so excited to welcome Pacific University Physical Therapy students to Rosewood for a special exercise class focused on fall prevention!

They brought the OTAGO Fall Prevention Exercise Program and taught our residents exercises and strategies designed to help improve strength, balance, stability, and confidence.

Falling can be scary — but learning how to strengthen our bodies and improve our balance can help us feel more confident in the things we do every day. We LOVE giving our residents opportunities to learn, move, challenge themselves, and become stronger! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Pacific University’s Physical Therapy groups and their wonderful students for sharing your knowledge, your energy, and your time with us!

Today our Lemon Blueberry Trifle became a lemon poundcake and blueberry "salad" with lemon jello dressing 😂

We accidentally bought cook and serve jello instead of instant jello.....and we didn't realize it until we had been beating the mixture for a super long time!!

We laughed so hard and then spent time noticing how wonderful it is that we have the ability to adapt in any situation ❤️
