This year for RED Day, our KW Big Island team spent the day volunteering at the Waikōloa Dry Forest Preserve — helping collect, clean, and sort native seeds as part of the preserve’s ongoing restoration efforts. 🌱

RED Day stands for:

And this year’s project was a reminder that even small, hands-on work can contribute to something much bigger over time.

The Waikōloa Dry Forest Preserve protects one of the last remaining native lowland dry forests in Hawai‘i — an ecosystem that continues to be restored through community care, conservation, and education.

Grateful to spend the day giving back alongside so many others working to help protect and restore these special places for future generations.
