Is Islanders your go to beach access point on Hilton head? Save this before September.

Islanders Beach Park will close September 8, 2026 through May 31, 2027 for a major improvement project, so if this is where you normally park and head to the beach, you’ll need a new plan for the next several months.

The good news? Folly Field, Driessen, and Burkes Beach are nearby alternatives, and when Islanders is expected to reopen on June 1, 2027, you’ll find more resident parking, improved, pathways, and lighting, that are drainage, new amenities, and a brand new accessible playground.

Some moves just make sense.

I’ve known Charlie Schroeder for a lot of years, and I’ve had the opportunity to know him both personally and professionally. He’s someone I’ve respected in this business for a long time, so I’m especially happy to announce that Charlie has joined us at Luxury Homes of Hilton Head.

Charlie is a Hilton Head native, a second-generation REALTOR®, and brings more than 25 years of real estate experience with him. But what I value most is the kind of knowledge that comes from actually knowing this Island, its communities, its history, and the people who call it home.
