🏡 Can we bring back the STARTER HOME?!

Somewhere along the way, we started thinking our first house had to be our forever house.

Huge kitchen. Giant primary suite. Perfect backyard. Extra bedrooms. Every upgrade. Basically… the house we expect to live in for the next 20 years. 😂

But your first home doesn’t have to be your dream home. It can be the home that helps you GET to the dream home.

A starter home can give you the opportunity to:

✨ Start building equity instead of continuing to rent
✨ Build wealth as you pay down your mortgage
✨ Potentially benefit if the home appreciates over time
✨ Learn what you actually love (and hate 😂) in a house
✨ Use the equity you build toward your next home later

Maybe it’s a little smaller. Maybe the countertops aren’t your favorite. Maybe you only stay there for a few years.

That doesn’t make it a bad investment in your future.

My husband and I bought our first home at 21, and looking back, there were SO many things I didn’t understand about homeownership and building equity that I know now.

Sometimes I get so caught up in getting everyone to the closing table that I forget to stop and look at how many families I’ve actually been able to help. 🥹🏡

These are just some of the amazing buyers I’ve had the privilege of helping close on their homes — PLUS a few more who went UNDER CONTRACT just this week! 🎉

Every one of these looked different. Different budgets, different loan types, different hurdles and definitely different levels of stress 😂 — but the goal was always the same: GET THEM HOME.
