➔ The risk for accumulating winter precipitation bringing impacts to the area continues to increase.
➔ Time period of greatest impacts has been narrowed to Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.

Key Messages
➔ There remains high confidence that bitterly cold temperatures will impact southeast Georgia next week.
◆ Low temperatures may reach near-record levels Wednesday night.
◆ Dangerous wind chills are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning

➔ An area of low pressure will pass to the south and offshore by the middle of next week and could bring winter precipitation to the area.
◆ The track of the surface low will be key to precipitation types and amounts.
◆ The probabilities for accumulating winter precipitation impacting the area are increasing, but it is still too soon to pin down specific impacts and amounts.
◆ The window of greatest impacts looks to be Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.

➔ Some travel issues could continue into Wednesday night and Thursday as wet roads could refreeze.

➔ There is a 40-60% chance for winter precipitation to produce minor impacts over the area.
◆ Minor impacts = accumulations of snow/ice are enough to produce travel issues.
➔ There is also a 20-40% chance for winter precipitation to produce moderate impacts over the area.
◆ Moderate impacts = accumulations of snow/ice are enough to pose a risk to life and property.
➔ These probabilities are still reasonably high this far out in time.
