My parents will probably never move to Massachusettsā¦but if they did, Iād want them close.
And in a state where housing is anything but inexpensive, multigenerational living can make a lot of sense- financially, practically, and personally.

I toured this BuildX project to see how theyāre creating a completely separate living space right on the same property, and we talked about what homeowners should be thinking about when considering something similar.
The ADU rules can still feel a little murky depending on the property, town bylaws, utilities, and exactly what youāre building, which is why having experts like the team at BuildX involved early is so valuable.
