Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club (HJWC) is a community organization with a membership of 230+ active women philanthropists of Hinsdale and our surrounding suburbs. HJWC makes significant contributions through both fundraising efforts and hands-on service projects. While President, HJWC’s efforts raised over $190,000 for Wellness House; these funds will be utilized by Wellness House to support efforts to provide information, education, support, nutrition and exercise classes, and programs for children and teens in families affected by cancer. As President responsible for presiding and organizing Club’s monthly General and Board Meetings, overseeing 20 committees, their service projects, Club social events, developing the Club’s annual budget in conjunction with the Treasurer, presenting a Leadership Training Seminar for the new Board or Directors, and being HJWC’s liaison to the many philanthropies we benefit. As Vice President responsible for assisting the President in her responsibilities and forming a By-Laws Revision Committee and presenting those By-Laws Revisions to the Board and membership for ratification.
