MY *BEST* YEAR EVER IN REAL ESTATEโฆ..NJAR Circle of Excellence Award 2023 (3rd Year in a Row!)
Admittedly, my volume came down a little after a booming 2022, but Iโm proud of myself. This was not my highest volume year, but it was definitely my BEST so farโฆ.
100% of my business this year was self-prospected and โout the mudโ as a SOLO agent. I didnโt get handed anything. It felt like twice the work for half the results this year particularly, but that resulted in doubling my skills as a realtor.
Compared to the last 2 years, most of my business this year was in multifamily, investment and rental properties. I even helped in 3 transactions finding housing for single parent homes on government assistance programs. It sickens me how broken these systems are, but Iโm glad I was able to help a bit.
Most of my business this year came from Lower Bergen County!! As a Bergen County lifer, Rutherford resident and Becton / Wood Ridge HS wrestling coach, THIS is the area I know, love and support and where I want to keep building my business.
I created bidding wars. Won bidding wars. Negotiated prices both up and down. Expedited closings. Installed GFCI outlets and smoke alarms. Organized contractors. And even sold a 107 year old house with a freakinโ underground oil tank for $75K over asking price.
Iโm good at this fโing job. And this year I finally believed in myself enough to realize that. For that reason alone, this was my BEST year in real estate.
