Amazing impact! Maxwell Place Condominium residents came together today to prepare and deliver more than 500 sandwiches to help feed our hungry neighbors in need.

Hoboken High School students and Maxwell Place residents Mark, Sophie, Ayden, Simrin, and Hudson, took the lead on this special initiative.

These sandwiches are an essential part of how we help feed our Guests on-the-go. We are so grateful to these exceptional students and the Maxwell Place community for supporting the effort.

Meet George. Injuries from a serious car accident at age 20 eventually led to an addiction to painkillers. When the prescriptions stopped, he turned to street drugs. Over time, he lost his home, his job, and the trust of the people who meant the most to him.

In September 2025, George came to The Hoboken Shelter. Our Clinical Case Coordinator, Norma, stood by his side as he worked to rebuild his life, maintain his sobriety, and find housing.

This week, George moved out of the Shelter and into his own apartment. More than 80 Guests have found homes of their own this year thanks to your support and generosity.
