Important—Residential Property Landlords Emergency Grant

The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) is providing an emergency grant to help small rental property owners struggling due to the COVID-19 emergency in the State of New Jersey. The Program will reimburse small landlords with properties of 3 to 10 rental units for rent payments that were missed or reduced in April, May, June, and/or July 2020. Only properties with low-to-moderate rent levels are eligible.

The application portal will open on Wednesday, August 19 at 9 AM and remain open until Wednesday, August 26 at 1 PM.
