Landlords are really bringing all the concessions to the table. No broker's fee, free rent, and negotiating power are all working in the tenant's favor. If you're a renter, and you're unhappy in your current place, you should really consider moving.

Interesting read about Manhattan, but we're seeing a lot of similar trends here in Hudson County as well.

A perfect storm was created as renters became buyers choosing the suburbs of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Thanks to students from All Saints Episopal Day School, the giant black utility box that was placed on the corner of 7th & Washington last year is looking a lot brighter. Here's the announcement from Jill Singleton, Head of School:

"Congratulations to Kyla Harvie, Penny Preston, and Chloe Rousseau who successfully competed in the Hoboken Art Box Mural Project, designing and painting a mural on a Washington Street utility box. Inspired by the school's culture of Mitakuye Oyasin, the work expresses their belief that, we are one big family of different people who treat each other with respect."
