Since 1978, Jerry has been active in the sale and marketing of both new homes and residential sales. As a leading area Broker, he brings an expansive and exceptional knowledge of the real estate industry
as a result of his involvement in all facets of real estate. As a native Delawarean, he is thoroughly
familiar with both the New Castle County and Chester County market areas. He has won numerous awards including being recognized as the Delaware Region’s top producing
agent for Fox and Lazo as well as Gilpin, Van Trump and Montgomery. He held the positions of
Sales Associate, Sales and Office Manager, in addition to Vice President in these organizations. Jerry was a partner with Corozzi Homes and the Owner/ Broker of Preferred Properties, Inc. Preferred Properties specialized in the location of raw ground for development into building lots
and the subsequent sale of new homes built on the lots. Clients included Dilsheimer Homes,
Corozzi Homes, Wilmington Builders, Robino Homes and numerous small to midsize privately
owned builders. In 1995, Fox and Lazo REALTORS® acquired the company. During the past five years, Jerry has specialized in working with short sale opportunities and has
completed numerous transactions with many of the area’s leading lenders, including Bank of America,
Wells Fargo, and Chase. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Delaware, he is also a licensed
Broker in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Delaware Association
of REALTORS® and was a member of the Board of Directors in 2009–2012. He is also a member
of the National Association of REALTORS®. He also graduated from the Realtors Institute and
completed the Certified Residential Specialist and Certified Residential Brokerage Courses as well
as the Accredited Buyer Representation Course.
