The offices of A2Z are open and operating normally, however we are not holding any ‘in person’ meetings at this time.

We are holding regularly scheduled Community Board and Annual Meetings using our online Webinar Services and teleconferencing portal, with up to 1000 participants “virtually attending” from the safety and comfort of their homes, using any computer, tablet or smartphone. We’ve ensured all our communities will continue to function without interruptions or delays while following all legal requirements, from voting on budgets, assessments, and electing Board members.

We transitioned our team members to work remotely from home in early March when we implemented our Disaster Preparedness Plan. All aspects of running our business are being conducted on company owned laptops and cell phones so our team can work safely and effectively from home, using our secure servers and technology portal.

We continue to answer the phones during regular office hours, but due to higher call volumes, you might be prompted to leave a message. When leaving a message, please speak clearly and provide your name, address and phone number, along with the name of your community, and a brief message.

Calls and emails will be returned promptly within 24-48 hours (weekends excepted) and calls will display from A2Z Property Management and from our main office number, 302-239-6000.

We are working to address COVID-19 concerns by instituting alternative methods and plans for all of our Managed Communities and Associations that will allow them to hold their legally mandated and required Annual Meetings.
First, we have mailed all homeowners a written Proxy Form that they can complete and return via USPS mail or email in advance of the meeting date, just like we do every year. However, since most all public meeting spaces have been closed (libraries, fire halls, schools, etc.), we will not be allowed to occupy or use those meeting spaces that were reserved, due to the State of Emergency Closures that have been instituted in the past several days, by the Governor of Delaware.
Second, we are putting together tele-conference call-in services that will allow for residents/homeowners to call in and listen to their Annual Meeting proceedings, as well as provide for submitting questions via email, that will be addressed during the meeting.
Third, we believe these steps provide a workable and legally acceptable alternative to having large neighborhood/homeowner Annual Meetings of more than 50 people, (which have been effectively banned as of now), while allowing anyone to participate and interact. This will eliminate the fear of endangering anyone that has been advised to avoid going into public places, or those with reduced immune systems and allow folks that are exercising caution and staying home or have concerns about coming into contact with others in a closed space. This alternative is the best and safest method for everyone involved, while still achieving the goals of an Annual Meeting.
Fourth, it is unlikely that there will be any public meeting rooms available for the foreseeable future (30+/- days) thus being able to delay holding Annual Meetings might not be possible and could have serious legal and economic consequences for many communities, neighborhoods, and especially Maintenance Corporations & Associations as it pertaining to the timely Annual Assessment and Dues billing & collections for 2020.
We continue to work with and communicate with the Boards and Officers to ensure that all critical functions and services will not be adversely impacted, while urging those with health questions or concerns to contact your health care provider.
