Big news out of Denton — we have broken ground on Cole Ranch, a 3,100-acre community that sits on a piece of history.

The land was purchased by Miner Thomas “MT” Cole in the 1930s and was a fixture in Denton County for nearly 100 years. Keeping with MT's love of the outdoors, an estimated 1,200 acres within Cole Ranch will be preserved and at least 26 miles of trails will crisscross the community, offering access to sections of the heavily treed Hickory Creek areas, as well as two large lakes — a 32-acre waterway and a 13-acre lake that MT Cole originally constructed with mules pulling a Fresno Plow. Home sales are expected to begin next year.
