We’re officially offering table + chair rentals for your parties, celebrations and gatherings! 🎉

After purchasing tables and chairs for one of our own events, I had a thought… why not put that warehouse space and box truck to even more use? 😂

So here we are!

Whether you’re hosting a graduation party, birthday, shower, backyard gathering, holiday or just need some extra seating for a house full of people, you can now rent directly from us.

🤍 6’ folding tables — $15/day
🤍 Folding chairs — $3/day
🤍 1 table + 8 chairs — $35/day
🤍 2 tables + 16 chairs — $65/day

📍 Pickup available in Holden, MA

🚚 Don’t have a vehicle big enough? Delivery + pickup is available within approximately 20 miles of Holden for an additional fee.

Everything is clean, simple, neutral and ready to work with whatever you’re planning.

This is brand new for us, so we’re starting small—but if there’s demand, we’ll continue adding more tables and chairs to our rental inventory!

There’s a lot of advice for small business owners about boundaries.

Don’t answer your phone after hours.
Don’t respond on weekends.
Don’t work on vacation.
Don’t take business calls during personal time.

And I understand the advice. Boundaries are important.

But I also think there’s a reality of owning a small business that doesn’t always fit neatly into those rules.

Yesterday, I was at a rehearsal dinner when my phone rang. I didn’t answer because it wasn’t an appropriate time. But later, when there was a natural moment for me to step away, I returned the call.

It was a new client. It took about 10 minutes.

That 10-minute phone call turned into a staging job worth more than $5,000.

Would that client have waited until Monday if I hadn’t called back? Maybe.

Would they have called another staging company and booked with them instead? Maybe.

I’ll never know.

And that’s the complicated part about running a small business.

Sometimes protecting your time means saying, “This can wait.”

And sometimes it means recognizing that 10 minutes of your time right now could create a significant opportunity for your business.

I absolutely believe in boundaries. I have more of them in my business today than I ever have before.

But I also believe there’s a difference between having boundaries and being completely unavailable.

For me, owning a business has never been about following a rigid rule that says I’m “off” at a certain time.

It’s about having the freedom to decide when something can wait—and when something is worth stepping away for 10 minutes.

Yesterday, it was worth the 10 minutes.

To my clients: You’re always worth the 10 minutes.

Years ago—decades, maybe 🤔—I worked for a home stager who didn’t use contracts. She didn’t even keep records of the properties she staged.

I’m not here to pass judgement on how someone runs their business - you can run a business with just a hand shake if you’d like! (But I do recommend writing down the address so you don’t forget where your inventory is!)

Although that job felt chaotic most days, I am grateful for that work experience because it taught me just as much about what not to do in business as what to do. I am more comfortable operating differently… And that’s okay!

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned since is that almost every policy in my business exists because, at some point, I didn’t have one—and it became a problem.

Signed agreements. Deposits. Cancellation policies. Pick-up notices. Lockbox access. No contractors permitted on sight after staging. Rules around use of staging inventory. Insurance coverage and client responsibility.

These policies weren’t created to make working with me complicated. They were created because experience taught me what can happen when expectations, responsibilities and boundaries aren’t clear.

And when a staged property was vandalized, I was incredibly grateful to have a signed contract with clear policies, expectations and responsibilities already established. In an unfortunate situation, there was no question about what had been agreed upon beforehand.

After enough years in business, you realize boundaries and contracts aren’t about being difficult.

They’re about protecting the business you worked so hard to build.

I learned some of these lessons the expensive way so hopefully you don’t have to.

Luxury. A beautifully staged living room.

This is what people see.

Here’s what they don’t see.

The inventory. The warehouse. Scheduling. Loading trucks. Movers. Contracts. Client communication. Problem-solving. Overhead. Installation. And then doing it all over again at pickup.

The beautiful room is the finished product. It isn’t the business.

People see the decorating. I wrote a whole book about everything happening behind it.
