33% of Utah residents are renters and the statistics are significantly rising by 25.9%. That's a high number! More than half, 53.7% of those renters are 35 and younger, waiting to find their forever homes. With rent prices rising about $300 a year, more than half of renters spend over 50% of their income on rent alone, while most spend 82% of their income on rent! These numbers keep on rising.
