Planning to open up my bedroom wall tomorrow to see if there is mold behind it. I can't sleep in my bedroom without getting sick. I gave them a chance to get in front of this as usual they chose to do nothing. If I find mold I am going to report it to the city just like I said.

I live in one of the most unethically run cooperative. And that is why I will not stop until every bad thing that they have done to me is made right. They better believe me when I tell them that.

After informing my cooperative that I wanted to have someone else fix my bathroom I was told that I could pay someone to do it or I can have the super complete it. I've chosen to have someone fix it and I am not paying for it. The cost of it is gonna come out of my maintenance. If they want to go and hire somebody that does not know what they're doing that's their business and they can also suffer the consequences of I am not going to. They have not learned about employing nepotism when making decisions of importance.

My cooperative recently hired someone who does not know what he is doing. My bathroom ceiling had to be replaced. I expressed my reservation when they said he would be doing the work. He did the work and it's crap. I told him that I was gonna hire somebody to fix it or they themselves could pick someone to fix it. Someone that knows what they are doing. They came back today and said that the board has decided that it's either him or I pay for it. I am not going to pay for them hiring someone based on the fact that he is the vice president of the board's friend. When I first moved in here they had another super that they said did not know what he was doing. I will bet you that he got his job also from knowing the vice president of the board. You would think they would learn. I am going to have someone correct the mess that he made in my bathroom the cost of which is going to be taken out of my maintenance.

I have finally come to the conclusion that no matter who runs the board in this building they will never do the right thing.

They ignored me when I asked to meet with the board about the water damage and then this happened today.

I recently applied for a maintenance reduction and was given a docket number. All this time I have been giving the cooperative the chance to do the right thing but they have chosen to trust people who are going to drag them down in the end. Let's hope they realize that before everything goes to hell.
