When rates eventually come down, a LOT of buyers are expected to jump back into the market at the same time, which could mean more competition, bidding wars, and rising prices all over again.

Right now, North Carolina’s market is actually giving buyers more breathing room, more negotiating power, and more time to make thoughtful decisions.

And remember: you can refinance later. You can’t always go back and buy the house you loved.

Is anyone else starting to feel a little tired of the cold gray-and-white “show home” look? 👀

One of the biggest things I’m noticing in real estate right now is that buyers are craving homes that feel warm, personal, and lived in, not overly perfect spaces that feel untouchable.

All-white interiors, gray-on-gray everything, and matching furniture sets
are being replaced with cozy neutrals, natural textures, warm woods, layered lighting, and spaces with actual personality.

Honestly, I’m here for it. Homes should feel like you, not a furniture showroom.
