JetBlue is expanding at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood, rolling out nine new routes in November and December and pushing its winter schedule to a peak of 113 daily departures, the most of any airline at FLL.
The list includes a first time city for JetBlue from Fort Lauderdale, Cali in Colombia, plus returns to Aruba, Cartagena, Grand Cayman, and St. Maarten, along with new links to Liberia in Costa Rica, San Pedro Sula, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh.
New routes from FLL
• Cali, Colombia (CLO): launch date to be announced, subject to approvals, not yet on sale.
• Aruba (AUA): starts December 4, three times weekly, year round.
• Cartagena (CTG): starts December 4, four times weekly, year round.
• Grand Cayman (GCM): starts December 4, three times weekly, year round.
• Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR): starts December 4, daily, year round.
• San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP): starts December 4, four times weekly, year round.
• New Orleans (MSY): starts November 1, two times daily, year round.
• Pittsburgh (PIT): starts November 1, daily, year round.
• St. Maarten (SXM): starts December 4, four times weekly, year round.
JetBlue will also increase service on nine existing Fort Lauderdale routes this winter, including Atlanta, Boston, Hartford, San Juan, Cancún, Kingston, Punta Cana, San José, and Santiago. Network chief Dave Jehn said the goal is to keep raising the bar for South Florida travelers with more destinations and stronger schedules.
